Pakistani Contingent Showcases Automotive Sector at Auto Shanghai 2025

A strong contingent of officials and dealers from China-Pakistan joint-venture automakers is making a notable impact at the ongoing Shanghai Auto Show 2025. Leading the charge, Master Changan brought a record-breaking delegation of 50 representatives, the largest ever from Pakistan, underscoring the country’s pivotal role in Changan’s global strategy. Changan Pakistan’s team also actively participated in the 2025 Changan Automobile Overseas Partners Conference, where Pakistan was declared a strategic pillar in Changan’s “Vast Ocean Plan.” The delegation immersed themselves in Changan’s latest offerings through test drives and explored their advanced digital intelligence factory and Global R&D Centre.

Meanwhile, Haval Pakistan, a joint venture between Sazgar Engineering and China’s Great Wall Motors, also fielded a delegation of dealers and team members at the Shanghai Auto Show. Their participation was further highlighted by GWM Pakistan’s impressive haul of 10 awards at the GWM Annual Awards 2025, ranking second highest among 80 participating countries, according to Sazgar’s DGM Marketing, Abuzar Butt.

Separately, MG Motors Pakistan, a JV between SAIC Motors and JW SEZ Group, announced its appointment as an official distributor for 1M Brands at the prestigious event. The 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2025) is currently underway in Shanghai from April 23rd to May 2nd.
