Chengdu Hosts Grand Banquet Honouring President Zardari

In Chengdu, CPC Party Secretary Wang Xiao Hui hosted a banquet in honour of President Asif Ali Zardari, attended by Pakistani and Chinese dignitaries including First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. President Zardari warmly thanked the host, recalling his family’s four-generation bond with China, while Wang expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support during the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. The evening featured a moving violin rendition of Dil Dil Pakistan, earning applause from the guests. Reaffirming Pakistan’s all-weather friendship with China, Zardari pledged to further deepen bilateral cooperation across all fields. The banquet highlighted the deep cultural and emotional ties binding the two nations.
