XIAMEN – Pakistan’s vibrant pavilion became a major attraction at the 25th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT), held from September 8–11 under the theme “Partnering with China, Investing in the Future.” Showcasing handicrafts, wooden furniture, scarves, sandalwood, and pink salt, Pakistan’s stalls drew large crowds, highlighting the country’s cultural and trade potential. Consul General Sardar Muhammad attended the opening ceremony, promoted bilateral opportunities, and held talks with Chinese officials and leading firms, including Hithium, to boost cooperation. He stressed that Pakistan-China trade and investment must mirror their “ironclad friendship” while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to deeper economic engagement. The fair, which hosted over 15,000 enterprises from 120 countries, offered Pakistan a powerful platform to expand exports and attract new investment. Officials noted that such participation helps position Pakistan as a reliable partner in regional and global trade networks.
